In the sixty plus short stories that I put together for you I shared not only the experiences of the people I served and their caregivers but my own as well. My life unfolded during the thirty plus years I cared for the dying and supported the people around them. My work as a hospice aide molded me, shaped me and guided me in ways I could not have imagined. I honor the people I cared for and the people I worked with in these pages. About this Audiobook

I am a health care worker who has worked at the bedside as a hospice aide for 30 years. I wrote “I’m Here for the Bath” to honor the patients and families I have served. I wrote the book as a collection of short stories that makes it easy to follow. Many people tell me it is of great help to them as they begin to deal with end of life issues. Other people tell me it is a great way to introduce the topic to family and friends. End of life is something everyone will have as part of their life. In my book I normalized the experience to show that it is not something to be afraid of but an experience that brings to us what we put into it, like the other mile stones of life. I hope you enjoy it.
